Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or similar technology.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience while maximizing sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with fine dining etiquette and standards is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with team members in a busy environment.
- A genuine desire to help others and create memorable dining experiences for guests.
