We are seeking highly dedicated and certified Professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our team. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will serve as a vital front-line representative, responsible for proactively protecting life, property, and assets through superior vigilance and customer service. You will report directly to the Security Supervisor, leveraging your expertise in observation, access control, and conflict de-escalation to maintain a safe and secure operating environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities and Core Duties
Your core duties will involve actively conducting visible and regular patrols (foot and/or vehicle) of designated premises to effectively deter, detect, and report any suspicious, unauthorized, or criminal activity. You will monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems, and be responsible for strictly and consistently enforcing all client-specific and company security policies with a professional and impartial demeanor. A critical part of the role is to respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and minor security incidents, utilizing expert conflict de-escalation skills to professionally address sensitive situations and maintain calm. You will control and monitor all entry/exit points, verifying credentials for personnel and visitors to prevent unauthorized access. Finally, you must produce clear, concise, and highly accurate daily activity reports (DARs) and detailed incident reports for all irregularities, occurrences, and client-significant events.
Qualifications, Requirements, and Work Schedule
To qualify, you must possess a minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in the security, customer service, or a related field, and hold a valid State-Mandated Unarmed Security Guard Card/License (or equivalent state-mandated certification). We require a demonstrated track record of dependability and reliability with a strong commitment to all assigned shifts. Candidates must possess open and flexible availability, including the absolute ability to work on weekends, overnight/night shifts, and holidays as required, and must have reliable, personal transportation to ensure punctuality.
This position is available for an immediate start. We are currently hiring for four shifts:
Shift 1
1600-0000 Wednesday -Sun 40 hours a week
Shift 2
PT Sat/Sun 0000-0800 16 hours
