Responsibilities (What You Will Be Trained To Do):
As a Quality Assurance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Inspection & Testing: Learning and performing various quality checks, inspections, and tests on [Product/Component type, e.g., incoming materials, in-process components, finished goods] according to established specifications and standards.
- Documentation: Accurately recording and maintaining detailed inspection logs, test results, and compliance documentation. (Detail-Oriented Focus)
- Deviation Reporting: Identifying and reporting any product defects, non-conformances, or deviations from quality standards immediately to the Production/ Operations Manager.
- Customer Claims Handling
- Process Monitoring: Assisting in monitoring production processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control points.
- Equipment Use: Training on and safely operating measurement tools and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs, or specialized software).
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For):
- Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying discrepancies or errors.
- A strong willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback during the training period.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems (e.g., MS Office Suite for data entry).
- Hands- On oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus Points (Not Required, but a Plus):
- Previous experience in a hands-on technical role, lab work, or highly procedural environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
