We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our team and support high-precision milling operations. This role is responsible for the setup and operation of CNC milling and CNC Swiss machines, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to established processes.
The CNC Operator will prepare tooling and fixtures for upcoming jobs, perform machine setups, and conduct first-piece inspections to verify part accuracy. This position works closely with the machining team to maintain equipment, complete daily documentation, and uphold quality standards.
Strong communication skills are essential, as this role collaborates with multiple departments to optimize manufacturing processes and improve overall throughput.
Programming experience is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate on our programming software. Familiarity with Mastercam and ESPRIT, are a plus.
Shifts: This is a 2nd and 3rd Shift Position ONLY- NO DAY SHIFT
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines
- Prepare and organize tooling and fixtures for production
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
- Maintain accurate daily documentation in accordance with quality standards
- Support routine machine maintenance and upkeep
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with precision equipment and complex machinery
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with CNC Milling and/or Swiss machines preferred
- Basic familiarity with Mastercam is a plus (training provided)
Salary: Hourly Rate contingent upon experience.
