American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) travel position requiring 2+ years of acute care Med/Tele experience and an active NV RN license.

13-week contract with 36 hours per week

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Acute care Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Active NV RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)

Current certifications required (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

CPI certification required for this position

Minimum 2 years of full-time Med/Tele experience in a US acute care hospital setting

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program

Active US Social Security Number required

Date of birth required for consideration

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility

Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems, and completes admission assessments per policy and procedures

Delivers age-appropriate, competent care to patients and families across the lifespan

Interprets patient information and determines appropriate nursing interventions based on patient needs
