Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking General Contractor Laborer to join our team. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including erosion control measures and site cleanup
- Operate power tools, manual handling equipment, and basic machinery safely and effectively
- Support heavy lifting activities and material handling to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures
- Assist with the implementation of safety regulations on-site to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Participate in industrial construction activities such as site grading, material staging, and equipment operation
- Assist in upkeep and maintaining cleanliness of job sites
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial construction environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, climbing, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions clearly
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
