Guard and Grace, Chef Troy Guard's award-winning, Michelin-recognized steakhouse, is coming to Charlotte, NC, and we are building our leadership team from the ground up. We are seeking an experienced Front of House Manager who is passionate about hospitality, team development, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
Named after Chef Troy Guard's daughter, Guard and Grace is known for its elevated cuisine, genuine warmth, and commitment to unforgettable hospitality. With locations in Denver and Houston, this Charlotte opening represents an exciting opportunity to help establish our flagship brand in a new market.
The Opportunity
As Front of House Manager, you will play a key role in building and leading our service team from day one. You will help create a culture of excellence while ensuring every guest receives the Guard and Grace experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily front of house operations with a focus on exceptional hospitality
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop servers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and bussers
- Maintain Guard and Grace service standards and brand expectations
- Manage floor flow, reservations, and guest communications
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and genuine care
- Support scheduling, labor management, and team performance
- Create a positive workplace culture aligned with TAG Restaurant Group's Core Values
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of front of house management experience in upscale or fine dining
- Strong leadership presence and the ability to motivate a team
- Experience managing high-volume service environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with reservation platforms (OpenTable or similar) preferred
- A true passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
