REO Pre-Marketing Specialist
On-site in Plano, Texas, five days per week
The REO Pre-Marketing Specialist coordinates pre-marketing activities for REO assets, with a strong focus on HOA negotiation and resolution, asset preservation, and vendor oversight, ensuring client SLAs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Research, negotiate, and resolve HOA dues, assessments, fines, and liens — obtaining statements, payoff/estoppel figures, and settling balances in the client's best interest.
- Communicate and negotiate directly with HOA boards, management companies, and attorneys to reduce or waive fees and resolve disputes prior to sale.
- Review assets in Equator, ensuring task completion, quality workmanship, and timeliness.
- Research, negotiate, and pay property taxes on REO properties.
- Manage code enforcement/violation review and remediation.
- Handle escalations, vendor communications, and daily reporting to maintain pipeline data integrity.
Required Education and Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of REO industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with HOAs, management companies, and municipalities to resolve dues, fines, and liens efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Knowledge of Equator preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- High degree of organization.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the written and spoken word, communicating with others accurately.
Pay: $22.00 - $33.00 per hour
