We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical assistant and Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in dermatology or urgent care, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.

- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services offered.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and services.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
- Stay informed about hospital protocols, including basic life support procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
- sales experience is plus
- Spanish speaking is plus
- Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in aesthetics/wellness
- Basic life support certification is preferred but not mandatory upon hiring; training may be provided.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
