Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Automotive Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will engage with customers, showcase our vehicle inventory, and drive sales through excellent customer service and effective sales strategies. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help us build lasting relationships and grow our dealership’s success.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Present vehicle features, benefits, and financing options clearly to prospective buyers
- Conduct outside sales activities, including cold calling and B2B outreach, to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline
- Negotiate deals confidently, ensuring mutual satisfaction while meeting dealership sales targets
- Upsell additional products and services such as extended warranties or accessories to enhance customer value
- Manage inventory control and assist with inventory management to ensure accurate vehicle listings
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and maintain organized sales records
Experience
- Prior experience in automobile sales or dealership environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are a plus, especially bilingual abilities for diverse customer engagement
- Proven success in outbound sales, retail sales, or public speaking roles demonstrates your ability to connect with customers confidently
- Familiarity with CRM software, inventory management systems, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently are essential for success
