Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care and efficiency.
- Conduct detailed sanitation of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health standards and ensure a hygienic environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client requests or concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Use specialized cleaning equipment for carpet cleaning, floor care treatments, or janitorial tasks to enhance the appearance and longevity of surfaces.
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling or inventory checks for supplies.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is highly desirable; experience in residential or commercial cleaning is a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or housekeeper management is advantageous.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygienic environments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience working in hospitality or hotel settings can provide valuable insight into high standards of cleanliness.
- Previous roles involving laundry services or custodial responsibilities will support success in this position.
