Our work environment includes:
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Maintain and update patient medical records, including medical coding and documentation
- Assist with patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in dental receptionist training is a plus
- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting required
- Proficiency in using Dentrix
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and providers
