Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Arizona DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) Certification required
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card needed
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of assistive technologies and instructional strategies for DHH students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized direct instruction and support for DHH students in individual and group settings
- Assess students’ needs, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress toward goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and ensure the accessibility of lessons
- Empower families through regular communication and resource sharing
