JOB The Athletics Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the operational functions of the College’s athletic programs. This position manages athletic travel logistics, purchasing and requisition processes, event operations, marketing and promotional activities, and other administrative functions that support student-athletes, coaches, and athletic department activities. The Athletics Operations Coordinator works closely with coaches, business office personnel, and College administration to ensure efficient and compliant athletic operations while promoting and enhancing the visibility of Bevill State athletics.
Salary: Appropriate placement on Bevill State Community College C3, Rank 05 Salary Schedule: $42,580-$67,661
Work Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

- Coordinate and manage travel arrangements for athletic teams and personnel, including transportation, lodging, meals, and related logistics.

Prepare and process requisitions, purchase requests, travel documentation, and other operational paperwork in accordance with College policies and procedures.

Assist with scheduling and operational planning for athletic competitions and events.

Coordinate athletic department operational needs with coaches, vendors, and campus departments.

Maintain records related to athletic travel, purchasing, inventories, and operational expenditures.

Compile, maintain, and coordinate documentation and records related to student-athlete eligibility, transfer waivers, medical hardship requests, and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) letters of intent in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and governing regulations.

Support game-day and event operations, including setup, coordination, and post-event responsibilities.

Assist with management of athletic equipment, supplies, and inventory processes.

Coordinate communication related to travel itineraries, accommodations, and event logistics.

Develop and manage promotional content for athletics through social media platforms and other communication channels.

Assist with marketing and promotional efforts designed to increase engagement, attendance, and awareness of Bevill State athletic programs and events.

Coordinate and assist with athletics media days, photography sessions, promotional campaigns, and related activities.

Collaborate with coaches and College personnel to promote athletic events, student-athlete achievements, and departmental initiatives.

Serve as a resource to coaches and staff regarding operational procedures and College processes.

Attend athletic events and activities as needed, including evenings and weekends.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or President.
