Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Echocardiogram Sonographer to join our Imaging Services team. In this vital role, you will perform and monitor echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures, working closely with physicians to assess cardiovascular anatomy and hemodynamics. Your expertise will directly contribute to accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Perform echocardiograms using ultrasound equipment, including 2-D, 3-D imaging, and Doppler tracings.

Calculate, measure, and document appropriate test values for physician review.

Monitor patient clinical conditions during procedures and communicate changes to physicians and staff.

Operate ultrasound systems safely and effectively to obtain diagnostic-quality images.

Collaborate with physicians to integrate sonographic data for optimal diagnosis.

Maintain accurate patient records and comply with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Respond appropriately to patient needs and ensure a positive patient experience.
Job Qualifications
Required:
-
Associate’s degree in Allied Health.

Current BLS certification.
-
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Strong attention to detail and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Preferred:
-
Prior experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography.

Formal training or on-the-job training in echocardiography.

Advanced certifications in echocardiography.
Compensation & Schedule

Competitive hourly pay, based on experience and credentials.

Full-time position; schedule may include days, evenings, and weekends.

Occasional on-call responsibilities may be required.
