Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, supporting TMS procedures, and assisting with clinical operations in a fast-paced medical environment. Duties
- Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical histories, documenting symptoms and submitting insurance authorizations
- Measure and record vital signs accurately
- Prepare patients for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato procedures and ensure comfort throughout the process
- Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Administer medications as directed by supervising healthcare providers
- Monitor patient responses during procedures, recognizing signs of adverse reactions or complications
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards
Requirements
- Adequate communications skills and comfort in healthcare setting.
- Computer skills are required.
- Prior experience in medical settings is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical administrative support functions is preferred but not required.
- Strong patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery
