What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cosmetology Instructor, you’ll be leading from the front—training, mentoring, and shaping the next generation of professionals.
You will:
- Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in all areas of cosmetology
- (hair cutting, styling, color, chemical services)
- Train and evaluate students to prepare them for real-world success
- Follow and enhance structured curriculum and lesson plans
- Create a classroom environment that is motivating, professional, and high-energy
- Support students in reaching their full potential—both technically and professionally
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous program improvement
- Collaborate with leadership and faculty to elevate the student experience
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and industry relevance
What We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements:
- Active Florida Cosmetology License
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on industry experience
- Strong communication and people skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) — REQUIRED
Preferred:
- Teaching or training experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- A natural ability to lead, motivate, and connect with students
