As a Leasing Consultant, you are the face of the community and a key driver of leasing success. You will create an exceptional first impression, guide prospective residents through the leasing journey, and help foster a vibrant community experience. In this role, you will build meaningful connections with prospects and residents while delivering outstanding customer service that reflects the values and standards of the organization.
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for generating traffic, conducting community tours, presenting apartment homes and amenities, and assisting prospective residents through the application and move-in process. You will play a critical role in achieving occupancy goals by effectively communicating the value of the community, identifying resident needs, and providing tailored housing solutions.
In addition to leasing responsibilities, you will help support resident retention efforts by maintaining positive resident relationships, responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner, and contributing to an overall positive living experience. This role also partners closely with onsite teams to ensure the community is maintained to company standards and that resident concerns are addressed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging community tours and match prospects with their ideal home
- Manage the full leasing lifecycle—from inquiry to move-in and renewals
- Maintain strong knowledge of market conditions and competitor offerings
- Ensure apartment homes are tour-ready and meet quality standards
- Build strong resident relationships through outstanding customer service
- Assist with planning and executing resident events and engagement initiatives
- Respond to resident and prospect inquiries with professionalism and urgency
What You Bring
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Sales mindset with the ability to build rapport and close leases
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of multifamily operations and resident relations
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office required; OneSite preferred)
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional holidays
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of property management or leasing experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk the property, including stairs, and access all areas of the community
- Ability to visually inspect apartment homes, grounds, and amenities
- Ability to work in an office environment and use standard office equipment
