Tool Repair Technician - Madison Heights, MI
ABOUT THE POSITION
Elevated Industrial Solutions is hiring a Tool Repair Technician. The Tool Repair Technician will work from our Madison Heights, MI, location and will report to the Tool Division General Manager -. This position is responsible for evaluating and diagnosing tool repairs on DC, Battery, and Pneumatic tool, as well as performing preventative maintenance and/or calibration on the tools.
WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS ROLE
- Evaluate and diagnose tool repairs on DC, Battery and Pneumatic tools
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools
- Read and interpret tool schematics in order to make the necessary repairs
- Perform calibrations in accordance to A2LA ISO 17025 Standards
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Mechanical and/or Electrical knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer knowledge (Internet & Email)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Excellent time management
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
