Commercial Cleaning Supervisor
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing cleaning staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring our clients receive consistent, professional service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support commercial cleaning staff at multiple locations.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleaning meets company and client standards.
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety practices, equipment, and company expectations.
- Monitor employee attendance, performance, and completion of assigned duties.
- Coordinate schedules and assist with coverage when needed.
- Communicate professionally with cleaning staff, management, and clients.
- Ensure employees have the necessary supplies and equipment to perform their duties.
- Address cleaning concerns promptly and follow up to ensure they are resolved.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with cleaning duties when necessary to ensure services are completed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience required, preferably in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, housekeeping, or a related field.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions when needed.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends when required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to travel between assigned job sites as needed.
- Must be able to pass a Federal Level 2 background check.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
