Pioneertown Motel is 19-room boutique hotel located just behind Pappy and Harriet's in Pioneertown, CA. We are looking for a Front Desk candidate to join our small team and to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their stay. We'd prefer 2 years of hotel experience, but other relevant hospitality, retail, or restaurant experience will be considered. Responsibilities include checking in guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and and things to do on their visit to the desert. Most of all, we are looking for someone who is a good fit for the team and has great people skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (ie. contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Work with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Skills

- Experience with hotel reservations software is a plus
- Understanding of Booking.com, Expedia, and TripAdvisor is a plus

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
