Culinary Experience Director, Senior Living

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the overall dining experience and nutrition of the residents
- Cooks or directly supervises the cooking of items that require skillful preparation
- Communicates and connects with residents to learn their dining tastes and preferences
to ensure the residents are satisfied
- Prepares necessary data for application parts of the budget; projects annual food, labor
and other costs and monitors actual financial results; takes corrective action as
necessary to help ensure the budgets are met
- Ensures proper staffing for maximum productivity and high standards of quality;
controls food and payroll costs to achieve maximum profitability
- Recruits compassionate, competent, and committed culinary team members to ensure
the community maintains resident satisfaction
- Effectively administers and participates in “Manager on Duty” program
Required Qualifications:
- Evaluates food products to ensure that quality standards are consistently attained
- Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment in a friendly and
professional manner
- Creates a positive environment, which encourages creative, positive problem solving
and overall job satisfaction for team members
- Demonstrate exemplary attitude, work ethic, and unwavering integrity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Contribute to an incredible customer service experience
- Ability to relate well to residents and their families
- Self-motivated, organized and professional. Have a neat, professional, courteous
manner and appearance
- Must be drug free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state
regulations
- ServSafe Manager’s Certificate (current)
