Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role involves overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained, while also providing training and support to team members.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in all areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Implement effective floor care techniques for various surfaces to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inspections, and supply usage.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Hilton Brand experience is required for this job.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and custodial procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques for various types of flooring is preferred.
