Duties
- Perform a wide range of nail services including classic manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity.
- Apply advanced treatments such as dermabrasion, esthetic laser therapy, and body waxing to enhance client results.
- Offer additional beauty services like eyelash extensions, hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, and barbering to provide comprehensive client care.
- Educate clients on nail care routines, color theory for perfect polish application, and product recommendations to promote ongoing maintenance at home.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and workstations after each client to ensure safety and hygiene.
- Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty enhancements while providing exceptional customer service.
- Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing training on new techniques such as esthetic laser treatments or retail math for effective sales strategies.
Experience
- Proven experience as a manicurist or nail technician with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work.
- Knowledge of color theory, nail care best practices, sanitation protocols, and current beauty trends.
- Familiarity with advanced treatments including dermabrasion, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, and laser therapies is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and deliver personalized recommendations confidently.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining genuine customer relationships.
- Previous experience in retail sales within a beauty environment is advantageous.
- Certification in cosmetology or related fields required; additional certifications in esthetic laser treatment or barbering are a plus.
