Instructors will coordinate, facilitate, monitor, and/or assist with instruction of American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, BLS, and HeartSaver courses, as well as DSHS ECA and EMT-Basic courses. Courses will be held during the day, on weekends, and/or in the evenings, and are scheduled on as as-needed basis.
Required:

Current EMT or paramedic (certified or licensed), issued by the Texas Department of State and Health Services.

Minimum of two years experience as an EMT or Paramedic, or acute care provider.

EMS Instructor certification, preferably with experience teaching EMS and AHA courses.

Valid Texas driver's license.

Must be willing to travel within the Victoria College service area and to work flexible hours as needed.

Strong communication/presentation and organizational skills.

Computer literacy.
Preferred:-
Associate Degree in EMS or health related field.

ACLS, PALS, and ITLS/PHTLS provider certification and/or instructor certifications.
Teaching demonstrations and/or skills tests may be required.
