Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Manage and supervise cleaning staff when in a leadership role, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all cleaning activities
- Conduct routine inspections to uphold cleanliness standards in hospitality or commercial settings
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled
- Train new staff members on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services
- Supervising or management experience in a cleaning or hospitality environment is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and oversee team members effectively
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
