Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced breakfast restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests and a team player.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the cash register system.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to effectively upsell specials.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling techniques at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash registers and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be reliable and a team player.
- A proactive approach to upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
