**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our company's daily operations and ensure smooth functioning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing processes, working with clients and driving business growth. Experience in roofing and/or construction is a requirement for applicants.
**Responsibilities:**
Job Duties:
¨ Schedule Jobs – Schedule jobs two months in advance or as needed, as well as fill ins.
¨ Schedule and manage crew – Making sure all crews are assigned jobs as well as manage their jobs and progress daily. Help crew resolve any change orders and solutions for the projects.
¨ Work along side with Project Coordinator with schedule, client interaction and client communication.
¨ Order material and schedule loads – Order ahead of time, especially special order material and work with the venders on loading roofs
¨ Assist commercial with material orders, scheduling and job management
¨ Assist sales with bidding/questions – Assist the sales team with questions regarding install time, material questions, install questions, etc.
¨ Speak with clients – Regarding questions, concerns, follow-ups,
¨ Track inventory – Help keep track of inventory, helpful before ordering material for jobs
¨ Track All jobs, Material and Invoicing - Spreadsheets
¨ Work with shop manager for staging, delivering materials, tools and inspections
¨ Run material, equipment, etc. when needed
¨ Inspect job progress and safety on roofs
¨ Work with subconstractors
¨ Safety log tracking and monthly meetings
¨ Track Truck maintenance
¨ Understand construction specs, construction material & building codes
¨ Work with office staff to keep track of employee times, job/billing related questions, etc.
**Experience:**
- Proven experience in operations management
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive process improvement initiatives
- Proficiency in strategic planning and business development
- Demonstrated experience in supervising teams
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to manage diverse teams efficiently
