Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Sanitize tables, utensils, and other dining equipment to uphold food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Uphold fine dining standards by adhering to proper etiquette and service protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in a busy setting.
