Duties
- Perform a wide range of beauty treatments such as hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and esthetic laser treatments to meet client needs.
- Provide expert nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, pedicures, and nail care advice.
- Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs for nails and hair.
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, offer professional recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, hair styling tools, and beauty products to enhance client experience.
- Keep detailed records of services provided and follow disinfection procedures after each appointment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cosmetology practices including hair styling, hair threading, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments.
- Expertise in nail techniques such as acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and nail care.
- Deep understanding of color theory for customized beauty solutions.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and provide tailored recommendations.
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation standards and disinfection procedures.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to perform retail sales confidently while demonstrating product knowledge (retail math and upselling skills).
- Strong communication skills combined with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
