American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric IV Therapy / Vascular Access Team RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma facility in Boston, MA, requiring ultrasound-guided IV placement skills and prior pediatric vascular access experience.

Acute care hospital setting within a dedicated IV Therapy / Vascular Access Team unit

Pediatric through adult patient population, including HemeOnc and ICU-level patients

Magnet-designated facility with Level I Trauma and Level III/IV NICU designations

Rotating shift schedule with start times at 7:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 3:00 PM; all shifts are 12.5 hours

Weekend work required

Charting performed in Epic

Active MA RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Pediatric vascular access team experience required (e.g., HemeOnc, ICU settings)

Ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder experience required

Proficiency in peripheral IV placement skills required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Perform vascular access procedures including ultrasound-guided IV placements across a pediatric to adult patient population

Scrub color policy: any solid color accepted on most units; OR scrubs are provided; SPD scrubs are any color but not provided

Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a rate differential
