Overview
Seeking an Experienced Transfer Driver to join our team. Applicant must have held a valid Commercial Class license for a minimum of 3 years and be a minimum 26 years old per our insurance company.
Duties
- Safely operate transfer truck and trailer combination.
- Ensure timely deliveries and pickups across local driving routes.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, state transportation laws, and safety protocols.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate deliveries, provide updates, and address any issues promptly.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure truck and trailer are in optimal condition for daily operations.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays for reporting purposes.
Skills
- Proven experience as a transfer driver with a strong understanding of local driving routes and navigation tools.
- Experience operating transfer with a clean driving record.
- Ability to plan efficient routes under varying traffic conditions.
- Familiarity with state transportation regulations, heavy lifting techniques, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction, client communication documentation, and team coordination.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
