Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Clinical Therapist to join the Valenta mental and behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will be an important and valuable part of the multidisciplinary team providing exceptional patient care to adolescents, adults, and families. This role involves conducting diagnostic and case conceptualization; developing and delivering treatment plans; delivering evidence-based interventions in the outpatient setting with groups, individuals, and families. The Clinical Therapist will play a vital role in supporting patients (and the team) through mental health recovery, trauma, depression, anxiety and other behavioral health issues while learning, developing, and expanding their own professional skills and knowledge. Supervision is provided and we are looking for positive additions to contribute to our strong treatment team.
Duties
- Provide individual, group, family, and therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, and other evidence-based practices.
- Develop personalized treatment plans (in conjunction with the Medical Director and treatment team) aligned with patient needs and clinical best practices.
- Facilitate intake sessions for new patients and coordinate ongoing case management to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, other therapists, RDs, Medical staff, and case managers.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in MFT, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as an **Associate** or Licensed: Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent credential required.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and desire to learn others.
- Experience working with children & family counseling, special education populations, or individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records management.
- Ability to work effectively in outpatient settings across diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
