Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency calls, providing immediate medical attention on-site and during transport
- Assess patient conditions accurately using medical terminology and diagnostic radiology insights to determine appropriate interventions
- Administer basic life support (BLS), CPR, and advanced life support techniques as needed to stabilize patients
- Operate and maintain electronic health records to document patient information clearly and thoroughly
- Perform manual handling of patients safely using proper techniques to prevent injury to patients and yourself
- Communicate effectively with hospitals, dispatchers, and other emergency responders to coordinate patient care and transfer procedures
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications when authorized, and utilize critical care experience for complex cases such as trauma or acute illnesses
- Maintain all emergency equipment, ensuring readiness for rapid deployment at all times
Qualifications
- WA State Paramedic credential
- Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR from recognized authorities
- Demonstrated critical care experience with a focus on emergency or acute care settings
- Prior experience in emergency medical services (EMS), nursing, or related healthcare fields preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic radiology procedures, and electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) systems
- Ability to perform manual handling safely while managing physically demanding tasks during emergencies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stakes situations
- Relevant certifications in emergency medicine or paramedic training are highly desirable

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
