Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Aggregate Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of aggregate production operations. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality delivery of aggregate materials used in construction and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in heavy equipment operation, and a comprehensive understanding of construction materials and processes. As an Aggregate Superintendent, you will coordinate teams, manage equipment, and uphold safety standards to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations of aggregate production facilities, including crushing, screening, and material handling processes
- Coordinate the operation of heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, forklifts, and concrete mixers to optimize productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions for team members
- Oversee maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and extend operational lifespan
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials, finished products, and supplies within warehouse environments
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Implement fabrication techniques for custom concrete forms or structural components as needed for specific projects
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, loaders, and concrete mixers
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues promptly
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, machining, and concrete finishing techniques
- Knowledge of construction processes, concrete forming methods, and manufacturing best practices
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints related to aggregate processing and concrete structures
- Excellent leadership skills with the capacity to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Warehouse experience with inventory management systems is a plus

Pay: $82,181.81 - $98,971.64 per year
