Job Overview
Our Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services for a variety of outpatient procedures, with a primary focus on pain management injections and minimally invasive pain interventions.
The successful candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality patient care in an efficient outpatient setting. This position requires professional flexibility to accommodate varying procedural schedules, including occasional weekend coverage as operational needs dictate.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations.
- Develop and implement appropriate anesthesia care plans based on patient needs and procedural requirements.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia and sedation services in accordance with established standards of practice.
- Continuously assess patient status throughout the perioperative period and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation.
- Adhere to all applicable federal, state, accreditation, and facility policies and procedures related to anesthesia services and patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Active Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licenses, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center, outpatient procedural setting, or pain management environment preferred.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including occasional weekend availability.
