Job Description
- Lead active water meter service contracts from planning through execution, closeout, and reporting.
- Manage daily field operations, including crew deployment, production tracking, QA/QC, subcontractor coordination, and equipment utilization.
- Serve as the primary client contact for public utility and municipal stakeholders.
- Track schedules, budgets, labor productivity, job costs, change orders, and contract deliverables.
- Prepare progress reports, as-built documentation, invoicing support, and client updates.
- Develop operating procedures, production standards, QC protocols, and scalable field processes.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and retention of field technicians and crews.
- Collaborate with leadership and estimating teams on future bids, proposals, pricing, and growth opportunities.
- Build vendor and subcontractor relationships to support expansion and surge capacity.
- Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract and utility standards.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of project management experience in water/wastewater infrastructure, utility services, civil infrastructure, mechanical field services, or a closely related field.
- Strong field operations experience, including crew management, production metrics, scheduling, materials, equipment, and safety.
- Experience working with utilities, municipalities, public agencies, or infrastructure contractors preferred.
- Experience with meter installation, meter replacement, service lines, distribution systems, or water utility projects strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to serve as a client-facing project lead.
- Experience with contract administration, reporting, change orders, invoicing support, and project documentation.
- Ability to travel as needed across regional project sites.
- PMP certification preferred but not required.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
