Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in New Castle, Delaware to hire School Psychologists for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to support K-12 students through assessments, consultations, and interventions that promote academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success.
Contract Details:
- Contract Length: August 24, 2026 - June 11, 2027
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week | Daily Hours: 7.5 hours per day
- Contract Assignment: 36 weeks
- Pay Rate: $58.00 - $63.00 per hour
- Opportunity to work collaboratively with educators, administrators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Interpret assessment data and develop comprehensive reports
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers
- Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, social, and emotional concerns
- Support the implementation of evidence-based interventions and behavioral strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district requirements
- Promote positive student outcomes through data-driven decision-making
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist License
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills
- Proficiency with educational technology and assessment platforms
- Experience using Q-Interactive is preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
