Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain equipment such as heavy tow trucks, and other vehicles
- Load tow and unload tractor or trailer to predetermined drop off point
-Must be able to use winches, snatch blocks and boom in the safe and correct manner
- Tow to designated locations in a safe and timely manner
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or customers
- Handle any conflicts or issues that may arise during the course of work
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment
- Proficiency in operating vehicles with manual transmission
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or customers
- Ability to load and unload with wrecker equipment safely and efficiently
- Experience operating tow trucks or performing automotive repairs is a plus
- Familiarity with forklift operation and safety procedures
