About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Test Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. In this role, you will design and execute test strategies across multiple testing environments, validate new functionality before it reaches production, and help integrate automated testing into our development pipeline. What You'll Do
- Perform testing across multiple environments, including System Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Review and interpret business, functional, and technical requirements to design effective test coverage
- Create and execute Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Scripts
- Manage defects end to end: log, track, retest, and validate issue resolution
- Validate system enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality prior to production deployment
- Apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and QA best practices throughout the testing lifecycle
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using established test automation frameworks
- Support regression, functional, and performance testing activities
- Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
- Apply strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of defects
- Maintain clear, thorough test documentation and communicate results to stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with business teams, developers, and project stakeholders throughout the release cycle
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience testing across System Testing, SIT, and UAT environments
- Strong ability to interpret business, functional, and technical requirements
- Hands-on experience creating and executing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Scripts
- Solid defect management experience (logging, tracking, retesting, validation)
- Experience validating enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality before go-live
- Working knowledge of SDLC processes and QA best practices
- Experience with test automation frameworks and writing automated test scripts
- Experience supporting regression, functional, and performance testing
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across business, development, and project teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with API testing tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Understanding of database validation, ETLs, and SQL queries
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous testing methodologies
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or enterprise application environments
