Job Summary

Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of dining areas, kitchens, restrooms, and service stations using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents
- Handle janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and floor buffing to maintain spotless surfaces
- Operate commercial cleaning tools such as floor buffers and scrubbers to ensure optimal floor care and sanitation standards
- Follow strict safety protocols when handling chemical agents and cleaning equipment to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with light maintenance tasks like replacing supplies, minor repairs, or residential painting as needed to support overall facilities upkeep
- Ensure heavy lifting is performed safely by adhering to proper lifting practices when moving furniture or cleaning supplies
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and equipment maintenance activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles within commercial or industrial settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment including floor buffers and industrial vacuums with confidence
- Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices and injury prevention
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with staff and guests when necessary
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
