Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working the 3pm to 11pm shift! Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring timely documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Matrix
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, behavioral health issues, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities.
- Maintain infection control standards through proper use of PPE
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records and ensure compliance with standards and nursing home protocols.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification with valid state licensure required.
- Experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals (ICU, emergency medicine), nursing homes, long-term care facilities, assisted living, or home & community care is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Matrix or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and vital signs measurement techniques essential for providing effective patient service.
- Demonstrated ability to work with vulnerable populations including seniors, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques necessary for safe patient handling.
- Ability to work flexible hours during weekends with active engagement in caregiving duties that promote dignity and independence for residents. Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
