The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours each week, designed to provide stability for both students and staff.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification appropriate for K-5 grades
- Proven experience working with mild to moderate disabilities in elementary settings
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with families, paraeducators, and general education staff
- Adaptability, creativity, and a student-centered approach to teaching
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide differentiated instruction for K-5 students requiring special education services
- Create and maintain a supportive, structured classroom environment
