We're looking for a Social Media Coordinator who can capture our vibe and translate it into engaging, client-attracting content.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and reliable Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our online presence. This role involves visiting the salon 1–2 times per week to capture real-time content and creating compelling posts that showcase our work, culture, and services across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Visit the salon weekly (1–2 times) to capture photo and video content
- Create and edit engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks, and Facebook posts
- Develop creative content ideas aligned with current trends and salon branding
- Schedule and publish posts consistently across platforms
- Write captions and calls-to-action designed to attract new clients
- Highlight stylists, services, transformations, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Monitor engagement and adjust content strategy to increase reach and bookings
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, especially in the beauty industry
Qualifications:
- Experience managing social media accounts (preferably in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle)
- Strong skills in content creation, video editing, and storytelling
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook business tools
- Ability to work independently and bring fresh, creative ideas
- Understanding of branding and audience engagement strategies
- Reliable transportation to attend in-salon content days
Preferred:
- Experience working with salons, stylists, or beauty brands
- Knowledge of trending audio, hashtags, and platform algorithms
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
