Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Severn, MD.
Pay: Up to $38ph + overtime + shift premium + bonus
Shifts: 2-2-3
We are hiring for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Mechanic with experience in Food manufacturing environments:inspecting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring workplace safety. Able to work independently or as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly and reduce downtime.

What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative & reactive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical & electrical issues
- Inspect and maintain motors, bearings, chains, gearboxes, sprockets
- Complete lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, minor repairs
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Disassemble, test, adjust, and calibrate machinery
- Follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records
- support PLC's, VFD's and other control systems
What You Need
- 3–5 years maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
Bonus if you have:
- PLC experience
- Electrical or refrigeration knowledge
- Welding or machine shop skills
- TPM / RCM experience
Education
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Technical certification (preferred)

- Cold/refrigerated areas (PPE provided)
