Fisher Law, LLC in Norwood is looking for an estate planning/elder law paralegal with 2+ years of experience to join our close-knit, client-centered firm.
We are a well-established and growing law firm that offers estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law services, and business succession planning for individuals, families, and small business owners from every walk of life. Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with the preparation of estate planning documents, including Last Will and Testament, trust, durable powers of attorney, healthcare proxies, living wills, deeds, trustee certificates and homesteads
- Communicate professionally by phone or drafting correspondence with clients, client advisors, and beneficiaries on a variety of issues
- Attending client meetings
- Prepare and organize legal documents and client files
- Assisting with trust administration, probate, and other court-related matters
- Assisting with MassHealth applications in collecting and organizing support documentation as well as the review of bank and other financial statements
- Performing other general office duties including the production of documents, scanning documents into case filing system, and assembling estate planning binders
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a law office preferred
- Estate planning or elder law experience strongly preferred
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Professional, patient, and compassionate demeanor with clients
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with Clio and/or WealthCounsel is a plus
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
