- Shift lengths will vary based on mail volume, averaging between 6 to 10 hours
Pay Rates:
Must-have Requirements for Mail Sorter:
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pull up to 50 lb. bags off chute hooks
- Detail-oriented to ensure proper placarding and labeling
- Ability to follow clear standard operating procedures
Desirable Requirements for Mail Sorter:
- Ability to use a pallet jack (training provided)
- Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to read labels clearly
Role for Mail Sorter:
- Load, unload, and sort mail of various sizes
- Inspect mail and packages to ensure no items are damaged
- Correctly label and place bags into placarded boxes
