My client is a long standing CPA firm in Southern Oregon, trusted by businesses and individuals for high-quality, personalized guidance of tax and assurance services. An administrative assistant is the face of this firm and the first line of service that the clients see when they arrive at the office. This firm prides itself on being consistent and doing work they are proud of, and are seeking an organized, confident, self-motivated individual to fill a full-time administrative assistant position. Position Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting clients
- Delivery of tax returns
- Answering multi-lined telephones and distributing calls as required
- Scheduling appointments/meetings
- Processing credit-card payments
- Collecting and processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Performing clerical duties, including filing, utilizing a postage machine, faxing, scanning, and photocopying
- Other tasks as required to assist the Operations Manager, the Owner, other staff and accountants, and clients.
Experience:
- Experience in a professional office environment is preferred
- Experience utilizing multi-lined telephones
- Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word), and Outlook
