FieldBridge Energy seeks a Bartlesville, OK-based Quality Technician, to work for the world's largest oilfield service company. Weekly pay + benefits.
Pay/Schedule: $24-26/hr. At $26/hr. and 50 hrs per week for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,320 gross.
2nd Shift: M-F 3:30pm to 2am
Job overview:
- Perform final inspections, function tests, pressure tests, and calibrations on surface and downhole Wireline tools and “ready boxes.”
- Verify all certifications, calibrations, and documentation are current and correct.
- Complete digital work orders in our maintenance system with perfect accuracy.
- Catch problems early so equipment never fails in the field.
- Prepare tools and critical spares for shipment — pack, label, stage, and occasionally help load trucks.
- Organize and upload all required paperwork (test reports, certificates, third-party inspections, etc.).
- Continuously look for ways to make the process faster, cheaper, and more reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Equipment Readiness Leads and Engineers with final job preparation.
- Execute noninvasive maintenance and testing tasks (no heavy mechanical overhaul).
- Perform or support function testing: Wireline combo checks, pressure tests, metrological inspections, calibrations.
- Ensure full compliance with SLB’s Technology Lifecycle Management standards.
- Load/stage equipment when needed to keep deliveries on schedule.
- Drive continuous improvement in equipment readiness, asset utilization, and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma or associate’s degree a plus).
- 2+ years of experience in quality control, inspection, testing, assembly, or maintenance (oil & gas, manufacturing, aviation, automotive, or military experience highly valued).
- Comfortable with computers and learning new software systems.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things right the first time.
- Basic understanding of calibration, pressure testing, or metrology is a big advantage.
- Ability to read technical documents, checklists, and certification requirements.
