Position Overview
Seeking an experienced MFM Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment within its Maternal-Fetal Medicine imaging department. The ideal candidate must have specific MFM ultrasound experience and be proficient in performing high-quality maternal-fetal medicine scans.
The sonographer will perform approximately 7–8 MFM studies per day, working closely with physicians and the maternal-fetal medicine team to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an MFM Sonographer
- Specific MFM experience required
- OB/GYN ultrasound experience
- Current RDMS certification required
- Appropriate OB/GYN/MFM credentials required
- Strong knowledge of maternal-fetal anatomy and pathology
- Ability to perform high-quality MFM ultrasound examinations
- Epic/HealthLink experience preferred
- Previous travel experience required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound examinations
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images according to established protocols
- Perform approximately 7–8 MFM scans per day
- Assess fetal anatomy, growth, development, and maternal structures
- Recognize abnormal findings and communicate concerns appropriately
- Obtain accurate measurements and required documentation
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout examinations
- Collaborate with MFM physicians and other members of the healthcare team
- Document exams and clinical information accurately in Epic/HealthLink
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment appropriately
- Follow department policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures

Experience:
- MFM Sonographer: 1 year (Required)
- Specific MFM: 1 year (Required)
- Epic/HealthLink: 1 year (Preferred)
- Previous travel: 1 year (Required)
- Strong knowledge of maternal-fetal anatomy and pathology: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Current RDMS certification (Required)
- Appropriate OB/GYN/MFM credentials (Required)
